Interviewed by Alan, 6th Year Elementary Student

Alan: Where do you see yourself in twenty years?

Owen: I see myself getting my PhD in science and working in a lab. I live in Maryland and on the weekends I visit my parents or my grandmother's shore house. Sometimes I bird watch.

Alan: What's your most embarrassing moment?

Owen: Now that I look back, I feel embarrassed that once at music camp I was playing saxophone in a performance. I put mine down and pretended to play "air saxophone."

Alan: What are you looking forward to in your next school?

Owen: Calculus and science classes, and eating lunch in the library.

Alan: What do you think you'll remember from your time in Upper Elementary?

Owen: Making a bunch of friends, and learning about math, art, and writing.

Alan: What do you like to do at home in your free time?

Owen: I like to play with my toys and play with my sisters.

Alan: What's your favorite movie?

Owen: I can't decide between Marvel movies and Star Wars movies.

Alan: What three words describe you best?

Owen: Curious, nimble, and smart.

Alan: Who is your favorite superhero?

Owen: If they were real, I would look up to Vision or Captain America. They both have very unique personalities.

Alan: What is something that people might be surprised to know about you?

Owen: I used to love playing the guitar and used to like cars and firetrucks. I have a five-pound basket full of cars.
