Gabriel: What’s your favorite school subject?

Madison: I like science because they’re so many things you can do.

Gabriel: If you were elected mayor of DC, what is the first thing you would do?

Madison: If I was the mayor, I would tell them to stop chopping down my oxygen.

Gabriel: How do you feel about going to middle school next year?

Madison: Happy and sad. Happy because it feels like I’ve been in Elementary for a long time. Sad because I’m going to miss being at Aidan. I don’t want to grow up. 

Gabriel: What do you want to do when you grow up?

Madison: I want to be a lawyer.

Gabriel: What’s one of your favorite things about Aidan?

Madison: The freedom.

Gabriel: What smell reminds you of home? Are there any special memories attached to the smell?

Madison: Chicken Alfredo. It reminds me of my mom and my dad making Chicken Alfredo for dinner.
