The Aidan Fund
It All Starts Here.
Every day at Aidan begins with a child’s curiosity. A question asked. A discovery made. A new confidence gained. Behind those moments are extraordinary teachers, thoughtfully prepared environments, and a community that believes deeply in every child.
It starts with a community.
For more than 60 years, Aidan families have invested in something extraordinary: children who become curious learners, confident leaders, and compassionate citizens.
Because of you and your generosity, last year:
- 28% of students received financial aid.
- $22,100 average size of financial aid award.
- 100% of faculty participated in professional development to strengthen their Montessori practice.
- 14 students represented Aidan at Montessori Model United Nations in New York City.
- 118 students took the stage in last year’s student musical, following a year of comprehensive arts instruction.
- 100% of students benefited from a new school garden and modular playground equipment
Every gift made a difference. Every child benefited.
It starts with your generosity.
Tuition alone cannot provide the full experience that makes an Aidan education exceptional. Each year, there is a $5,000 gap per student between tuition and the true cost of educating every child.
The Aidan Fund bridges that gap by supporting:
- Financial aid that keeps Aidan accessible
- Excellent Montessori faculty and professional development
- Beautifully prepared classrooms and Montessori materials
- Art, Music, Spanish, and Chinese instruction
- Outdoor learning, field trips, student performances, and camping excursions
- The joyful, everyday lessons that define an Aidan education

"We have four sons at Aidan, and our family gives to The Aidan Fund because the school and the community have positively impacted every single one of them. Aidan values the same things we do at home -- compassion, respect, thoughtfulness, curiosity, and grace. We know how special Aidan is and we want to give back to the school and community that's given so much to our family."
- Eloise Hackett, Trustee and Chair of Aidan's Advancement Committee
