Parent Association

When you enroll your child at Aidan Montessori School, you automatically become a member of the Parent Association.

Aidan parents have contributed their resources, time and talents to the school since it was founded (by parents!) in 1961. The purpose of the Parent Association is to keep the Aidan community healthy and rewarding, and to mobilize parent resources for the support of the school. The Parent Association is led by elected officers.

The Officers for 2019-20 are:

Angelyn Shapiro, Room Parent Coordinator

The PA organizes fundraising, social, and community activities and coordinates these activities with the school administration. Even before school starts, the PA sets up Room Parents and begins planning for the year. During the school year, the PA coordinates Community Service Drives, the Book Fair, Grocery and Retail Give Back programs (such as Safeway and Giant), Evening of the Arts, the Spring Fling, and the End-of-Year Faculty & Staff Luncheon. They also work with the school administration on Open Houses and Special Persons' Day.

Community Service Opportunities

All are welcome to share in the spirit of generosity at our two upcoming community service opportunities. Join us on Sunday, January 12 to assemble hospital art kits and/or Saturday, February 9 to assemble snack bags for SOME.
