When you enroll your child at Aidan Montessori School, you automatically become a member of the Parent Association.
Aidan parents have contributed their resources, time and talents to the school since it was founded (by parents!) in 1961. The purpose of the Parent Association is to keep the Aidan community healthy and rewarding, and to mobilize parent resources for the support of the school. The Parent Association is led by elected officers.
The Officers for 2021-22 are:
Lauren Ackil, Co-Chair
Rebecca Neuburger, Co-Chair
Kevin Ward, Room Parent Coordinator
Adrienne Foster, Community Service Coordinator
The PA organizes fundraising, social, and community activities and coordinates these activities with the school administration. Even before school starts, the PA sets up Room Parents and begins planning for the year. During the school year, the PA coordinates Community Service Drives, the Book Fair, Evening of the Arts, the Spring Fling, and the End-of-Year Faculty & Staff Luncheon. They also work with the school administration on Open Houses and Special Persons' Day.
We invite you to become an active participant! Please express your interest here.
Join the PA for coffee on May 25 and Spring Fling on June 5. Also sign up to get involved at Aidan this year and next!
As the school year comes to a close, we are already thinking about next year's events and volunteer opportunities. Help us connect with the Aidan community by identifying any volunteer opportunities of interest to you and your family for the coming 2022-2023 year.
Aidan's annual Spring Fling is almost here! Join us Sunday, June 5 for an afternoon of family fun to celebrate another great year at Aidan Montessori School. Learn more and sign up to volunteer!
