Caregivers 101 - Tuesday, October 1, 9AM

Join us for an informative and engaging evening designed for caregivers. This event offers an opportunity to learn best practices and gain insights into the Montessori method. Caregivers will participate in interactive sessions and discover techniques to support their children's development at home. Enjoy refreshments and connect with other caregivers while enhancing your understanding of the Montessori approach and how to integrate its principles into daily life.

This event is targeted towards caregivers of YCC and primary school children.

Looking Ahead to Elementary - Friday, October 4, 8:30AM

Join us for an opportunity to meet our Elementary teachers and learn more about our Elementary Program. This event is designed for all families to connect with our educators and discover what makes our program unique.

Fall Festival - Saturday, October 5, 10am-Noon

This Parent Association-run festival is a cherished tradition at Aidan, held on the playground. Join us for a fun-filled morning of activities and community celebration.

Planning Your Journey Through Aidan and Beyond 

Hosted by the Aidan Admissions Office and with a Featured Guest Speaker

We invite all of our families to join Aidan's Director of Admissions, Ms. Japera Walker-Wilkison, and guest speaker Allyson L. Weaver for an exciting three-part workshop series on understanding the outplacement process in the DC area.

Allyson is the  Founder & Principal Consultant at Sage Educational Advisors where she leverages her expertise in admissions, curriculum design, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to provide customized and holistic guidance to clients. Most recently, Allyson was the head of middle and upper school admissions at Sidwell Friends School.

Open House for Prospective Families - October 18, 9:30AM

Aidan Montessori Open Houses are available for families interested in enrolling for the 2025-2026 school year. We host one in-person and one virtual open house for your convenience.

These events are wonderful opportunities to learn more about the Montessori method, get a glimpse of our classrooms and our children's work, and get a sense of the Aidan community by meeting current parents, faculty, and staff. We invite you to register for one or both events. 

All admission open house events are adult-only.
