Did you know that in a bad flu season, 40 million to 50 million Americans may catch the flu with around 800,000 of them requiring hospitalization? The 2021 flu season is quickly approaching and now is the perfect time to begin preparation and prevention.
With the worldwide pandemic still among us, and to help me keep my promise to have as many kids in school as possible, it is so important to get your flu shot this year. The flu hits our younger generations pretty hard with both infection numbers and symptoms. The more people that are vaccinated in every age group, the more protected everyone will be. Let's all do our part to prevent a 'twindemic' and keep our community safe!
