Sign Up for January Community Testing

Aidan Montessori School will be conducting community testing on Monday, January 3 from 11:15 AM to 1:00 PM. We will once again be using Capitol Diagnostics. The testing event will be held on campus and we will send additional information about the flow and location as we get closer to the testing date. Please note that there will be no virtual programming on this date.

As a reminder, all children will be required to be tested following Winter Break. 

With vaccines now available to children ages 5 and up, please take note of a couple important updates regarding our return to in-person learning.

• All fully-vaccinated Elementary students may return to in-person learning on Tuesday, January 4 after testing on January 3. Fully-vaccinated is defined as two weeks (14 days) after the second COVID vaccine dose. In order to return to school on these days, families must submit their child's COVID vaccination records on the Magnus health portal after they receive their second vaccine dose and by no later than 3 PM on January 3. 
• Elementary students who are not fully-vaccinated will have Distance Learning days for Tuesday, January 4 and Wednesday, January 5, and will return to campus that Thursday, January 6 following confirmation of the negative tests. The Distance Learning Program will be taught by Mr. Cuesta and will feature a similar schedule to last year's DLP 2.0. This class will be combined grades 1-6 for those two days. 
• All Primary & Toddler students will also have Distance Learning days for Tuesday, January 4 and Wednesday, January 5, with a return to campus that Thursday, January 6 following confirmation of the negative tests. Primary and Toddler children will join their respective classrooms via Zoom for a unique and interactive Montessori Online Learning experience. Be on the lookout for your child's teacher email with all necessary information and Zoom links. 

We invite you to sign up for your child’s testing slot on Monday, January 3. Please take note of the following prior to signing up:

• If your child was previously tested by Capitol Diagnostics on September 2 or November 29, then simply sign up for your child’s testing slot using the sign up genius link, no later than January 1.
• If your child was not tested by Capitol Diagnostics on September 2 or November 29, then please follow these steps to register as a new patient before reserving your testing time slot using the sign up genius link.

If you prefer to get your child tested elsewhere, then the test must be done between January 1-5 or 3-5 days after you return to the DMV after traveling. Test results must be sent to Nurse Lexi before your child can return to school.
