School Picture Days: Schedule and Logistics

This year our school has partnered with a local photographer, Alison DeSilva from DeSilva Studio to take Aidan's 2022-2023 individual and class pictures. 

Having started out volunteering at her son’s Montessori school taking student photos, Alison has emerged as one of Northern Virginia’s premier class and individual student photographers. Known for her keen eye for timelessness and artistic expression, Alison is able to capture your child’s unique style and personality in a way that shines through in every photo.

Between two and five photos will be taken during a photography session and will be available for purchase as digital files and/or prints. Seven to ten days after the photography session the school will receive an email with a link to the student/class gallery. No payment or forms will need to be completed upfront.

Picture make-up days will be held on October 11 and 12. We will follow up with additional details if your child misses their designated picture day or if pictures need to be rescheduled due to weather.

• October 3: Mulberry, Sweet Gum
• October 4: Mountain Silverbell, Dogwood 
• October 5: Red Oak, Magnolia 
• October 6: Redbud, Persimmon
• October 7 & 10: School closed
• October 11: Sassafras and make-up day
• October 12: Make-up day
