Call for New Board Member Nominations for 2023-2024

Dear Aidan Community,

We are excited to announce our search for dynamic and dedicated individuals to join the 2023-24 Board of Trustees. As a Trustee, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Aidan Montessori School and play a key role in driving its strategic direction.

Being a Trustee is a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. The Board focuses on tackling long-term, strategic issues that are essential to the continued success of the school, rather than day-to-day operations or programmatic matters.

The role requires a significant investment of time and energy. Trustees serve a minimum two-year term, participate in two committees, attend committee meetings regularly, and attend full Board meetings approximately every one to two months.

We are looking for individuals with a strong commitment to Aidan and Montessori education, who have the time and dedication to fully engage in Board work and bring an objective perspective to the table. This year, we are particularly interested in nominees with experience in communications, finance, advancement, or real estate.

We welcome nominations from both within and outside the Aidan community. If you are passionate about Aidan and Montessori education and have a strong desire to make a difference, we encourage you to nominate yourself or someone you know for this exciting opportunity. The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 31, and the Committee on Trustees will make its recommendations to the full Board.
