Upper School Blog: Finishing Strong in Elementary

Dear Families, 

It has been an absolute joy to help lead the Elementary Community this year. On the heels of a couple challenging pandemic-influenced years, we were really able to get a return to normalcy in so many ways. As we prepare for our first live action Spring Musical since 2019 and our first in person Graduation with all of the Sweet Gum students present, it definitely looks and feels like the action-packed days of old.

I am so proud of our students for coming to school every day with smiles and energy to buoy the Red Oak, Magnolia, and Sweet Gum communities. I am also incredibly grateful to the faculty and staff of the Aidan Elementary Program—including our specials, support staff, and foreign language teachers. Their patience, creativity, and strength to carry through this year is nothing short of miraculous. 

We have truly made lemonade out of lemons—just in time for 95 degree summer days. Have a safe and fun summer!
