Spring Discovery Update

Dear Parents,

Since Aidan will not reopen until April 27th at the earliest, it has been decided that our Spring semester of Discovery classes will be cancelled. I apologize greatly for this unfortunate news. While we are all disappointed, we all understand that this is the right decision based on the circumstances. All families will receive a full refund for these classes (and a partial refund for language classes for now).

In the meantime, a few vendors have already reached out with some wonderful ideas for offering their programs from afar:

  • Our Primary Music teacher Miss Amy has started a Facebook group with livestream classes here.
  • Our Breakdancing team has begun offering livestream classes directly from their website
  • Our Art teacher Ms. Angela shares some fun craft ideas that your child can do while at home, read more here.
  • Our chess program, Chess Wizards, is starting to prep online classes through Zoom. If you are interested in getting set up with them or learning more, please let me know through email, and I'll connect you with them.
  • Girls on the Run has already shifted to online classes with the girls because their program had begun before Spring Break. Please let me know if you haven't received information about that if your daughter is registered.

I'll continue sending out information about programs that are able to offer activities online. I hope this can serve as a great way to offer our children some enriching activities while also supporting our fantastic vendors during this evolving situation.

Stay healthy, and please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Best regards,

Phillip Katinas
