Aidan's Elementary Presents: "The Wizard of Oz"

This year’s Elementary production of "The Wizard of Oz" will take place at 7 PM on Friday, June 3 in the Frosene Center Ballroom at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church (2815 36th St NW, Washington, DC 20007). Parking is available on site. 

Admission is free and we welcome ALL members of our elementary parent (and sibling) community as well as faculty and staff to join us at this event. Due to health and safety procedures, the primary and toddler communities and extended family members will be unable to attend in person this year. A recording of the musical will be available following the event.

Upper Elementary students should arrive at St. Sophia’s at 6 PM, and Lower Elementary students should arrive at 6:30 PM.

We are looking forward to the musical, thank you for helping to make this event a safe one. Please take note of the COVID protocols for the Musical, we will follow similar protocols to those of Evening of the Arts.

RSVP: We ask that all families planning to attend RSVP here.

TESTING: All students will be tested on Tuesday, May 31, the week of the Musical. Any students exhibiting symptoms between Tuesday’s testing and Friday’s event should also test again at home. We ask that any parents and siblings planning to attend take an at-home test 24-48 hours prior to the event. Test results should be emailed to Nurse Lexi prior to the event. Any families requiring at-home tests should contact Nurse Lexi or indicate their need in RSVP form. 

COVID EVENT FORM: All families will need to complete a “Family COVID-19 Event Questionnaire” 24-48 hours prior to the event. This form will be emailed to families the afternoon of Wednesday, June 1.

MASKS: When inside the building and during the production, we require that face masks be worn regardless of vaccination status.
