Upcoming JEDI Event: Inclusive Learning Environments

The Aidan JEDI Committee is excited to announce its upcoming workshop, "Inclusive Learning Environments" featuring guest speaker, Brittany Pinkney. Join the JEDI (Justice, Equity Diversity and Inclusivity) Committee on Monday, April 22nd from 5-7 PM as we continue our workshop series and learn more about the power of safe inclusive educational environments.

During this workshop Brittany Pinkney will discuss the importance of inclusion and celebrating diversity. This opportunity will empower educators and parents, as their child's first educators, with the tools to facilitate challenging conversations around stereotypes and hidden biases.

Free childcare, refreshments and pizza will be provided. Attendees requiring childcare must pick their child(ren) up from ASP and escort them to the St. Thomas Church Auditorium prior to the event. Please be sure to RSVP.

Brittany Pinkney Biography

Brittany Pinkney is a nationally certified school psychologist with Prince George's County Public Schools. She resides in Maryland with her two daughters, Laila & Olivia. Ms. Pinkney earned her undergraduate degree, her master's degree, and certificate of advanced study in school psychology from Towson University. She currently provides academic and behavioral support to over one hundred children with Autism at her assigned school. She also provides consultation services to her school team in order to ensure that the most effective practices are being implemented to her students. Ms. Pinkney is passionate about creating learning environments where all students can thrive in the areas of academics, behavior, and social- emotional development.
