Please join us on Saturday, October 14, for Aidan's Annual Book Fair!

The annual Aidan Book Fair is coming in mid-October. The Book Fair is a wonderful opportunity for Aidan families and friends to support the school, while also promoting reading as a fun and enriching activity for our children. We hope that you will join us!

Here are the facts about this beloved Aidan tradition:

When is the Aidan Book Fair?

Saturday October 14, 2017 9 AM-10 PM (Aidan staff will be on hand from 9 AM- 5 PM)

Where is the Aidan Book Fair?

Politics & Prose Bookstore, 5015 Connecticut Ave., NW. Aidan representatives will be located in the Children's department. You are welcome to shop the entire store. Aidan will receive 20% of all book sales for the day if use your coupon or mention Aidan at the register.

Why should I go to the Aidan Book Fair?

  1. Because 20% of book sales at Politics & Prose will go to support the school. You can help the school AND get a head start on your holiday shopping. It's a win-win!
  2. Because you can also have the opportunity to informally be with friends and new faces. Comet Ping Pong (5037 Connecticut Ave., NW), a pizza parlor and neighborhood treasure a few doors down from Politics & Prose, has generously agreed to donate 15% of participating sales to Aidan. Just be sure to give them the coupon you pick up at the book store or write "Aidan Montessori" at the top of your bill when you turn it in.
  3. Because you can purchase books to donate to the Aidan library in honor of your child's classroom or Bright Beginnings, a child development center serving under-housed families in DC. We will have book wish lists from the Library and Bright Beginnings available at the fair.
  4. Because you and your children can enjoy dramatic book readings by our Head of School Kevin Clark, our COO Jimi Purse, and our school Librarian Nell Stewart. Nell will read Saturday morning at 11 and Kevin and Jimi will read Saturday afternoon at 2 and 4 PM.
