Welcome to the 2017-18 school year at Aidan Montessori School! While Aidan is in its 56th year as an institution, it adapts with thoughtful change and works towards constant self-improvement. Guided by its Strategic Plan, Aidan continues its efforts to further enrich and communicate our excellent programs, especially at the Elementary levels; to meet families' needs in the areas of parent education, student assessment, and transition; to reaffirm our commitment to our increasingly diverse community; and to support and develop our stellar faculty and staff. I am very proud to support the school during these important and exciting times.

My husband and I have two children at Aidan. Our son is in his first year in Primary (having previously transitioned from Toddler) and our daughter is in her third year in Lower Elementary.

I am grateful for the role Aidan has played in shaping who they are not just as students but as whole persons. They are confident, engaged, and curious. Their palpable enthusiasm towards school is attributable to Aidan's outstanding faculty and staff who, together, sustain a dynamic and nurturing environment where children grow to become independent, self-motivated learners and empathetic contributors to their community.

The role of the Board of Trustees is to ensure the long-term growth and stability of Aidan while implementing its mission and strategic goals, and to support and oversee the Head of School. The trustees, comprised of parents and members of our larger community, are committed to keeping Aidan an optimum Montessori educational environment for its students and their families.

As my family and I enter our seventh year at Aidan, we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this unique experience and are very excited to continue being a part of Aidan's future.
