Halloween
all day

Halloween is celebrated in several different countries, and may be based on the pagan festival of Samhain or may be solely Christian in origin, as it marks the eve of All Saints' Day. If you're following the American tradition of trick-or-treating in costume today, we hope that you have fun, but please do not wear costumes to school to avoid disrupting especially our youngest students.

At school, the Elementary students will have the opportunity to study Halloween from a cultural and historical standpoint, including music and literature. Primary and Toddler children will sustain their normal calm, morning routines with a story or two in acknowledgement of Fall and the harvest.

If you're following the American tradition of trick-or-treating, we hope you keep safe and have fun! You can learn more about Halloween on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halloween.
