Our next EPIC (Elementary Parent Information Class) "Talking to your child about current events" will take place on Wednesday, November 13 at 8:15 AM. We warmly invite all parents to attend this event featuring Aidan's School Counselor, Jessica Kwerel LPC, and child psychotherapist, Erin McCarthy LCSW.
The presentation will cover the important and delicate ways that parents can address violence and current events with their children through conversation. These two experts will help parents understand what is age-appropriate and what words can be used to both educate and reassure our children when they are exposed to mature themes in news and daily life.
