Trying to get a handle on what your child is doing at school and how to support their burgeoning independence in a prepared environment? What does that actually mean in the Montessori context? Which materials provide for opportunities for them to "do it myself"? What is your role and what strategies can you use?
This practical, teacher-led session will give you real, every day examples of how to guide your child's physical, functional, emotional, intellectual, and social independence. We fill focus on Preliminary Exercises, Grace & Courtesy, and the work cycle to explain what it looks like at School and how that can (and should) translate to home.
Open to parents of Toddlers and Primaries.
