Fall Market Day - Morning 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
Church Hall, Basement, St Thomas Apostle Church, 2665 Woodley Rd NW, Washington, DC 20008

As our Elementary students learn more about life beyond the classroom, we often find students are moved to support causes and affect positive change for areas and subjects for which they are passionate. Over the years, we've received many requests for student-run bake sales in order to raise money for a number of fantastic causes supported by our students. With so many great and worthy causes, it became almost impossible to satisfy the demands for each and every bake sale. After careful consideration in consultation with our students, "Market Day" was officially born.

Market Day is a biannual event that occurs in the fall and the spring. The Aidan Fall Market Day will take place throughout the day on Monday, December 10, and will be open to students, staff and parents. Market Day is a large group bake and craft sale that will take place in the St. Thomas Church Auditorium. It provides Elementary students with the opportunity to manage their own mini-businesses where they can sell their wares and baked goods and designate the profits toward the charity or non-profit of their choice. Students learn a ton from Market Day and also support a number of great causes.

In addition to helping run their own mini-businesses, Elementary students will have the opportunity to shop the various tables set up by their peers. Market Day will run throughout the day and Primary students are also welcome to explore the market as long as they are accompanied by an adult following their 12:00 PM and 2:45 PM dismissals.

We look forward to our upcoming Market Day and we hope you join us to support a number of worthy causes.
