EPIC - Counselor Connection: Understanding & Supporting Your Child's Social Development
-
In-Person

Our Counselor Connection series tackles how parents can best support their children at home when dealing with social and emotional issues. Enjoy informative discussion, strategies, and resources on how to best see your child through the highs and lows.

Aidan is excited to announce the next session offering in our parent engagement series with our community featuring School Counselor, Julia Dakich. This event will take place in-person on Tuesday, February 13 from 4-5 PM. In our upcoming discussion, we will focus on understanding and supporting your child's social development.

  • Do you wonder whether your child is meeting the social development benchmarks for their age?
  • Curious about what those benchmarks are?
  • Would you like to support your child in making friends, navigating conflicts, and empowering them to develop positive relationships?

This session will focus on the social lives of children: what to expect, when to expect it, and how to support your child in navigating this critical piece of their development. This will be an opportunity for parents to connect with each other and Aidan's school counselor over the social lives of children.

Join us on February 13 as we discuss how to empower your child to respond to different social challenges, and learn about the developmental changes that lead to these challenges. Bring your questions, stories, and prepare for a dynamic discussion. All are welcome, though this event will be particularly beneficial for parents of our Elementary students.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP by February 9.
