Elementary parents are invited to join Ms. Labson, Ms. Vicéns, and Aidan's Parent Betsy Quilligan for a virtual discussion on talking to your child about "the birds and the bees." Betsy is a certified postpartum doula and a trained facilitator of Our Whole Lives, a sexuality education curricula for elementary-aged children.
This event is designed to support parents of elementary-aged children as they prepare to discuss puberty, sexuality, and reproductive health. Through guided discussions, parents will identify family priorities, consistent strategies, and specific resources they can use to talk in a developmentally-appropriate way with their children about sex and bodies.
