The Me Me Me Epidemic by Amy McCready

I've never met a Toddler who didn't think the world revolved around them. So how do we help them move from that developmentally appropriate survival attitude to behaving like a responsible, caring, empathetic human being?

Let's explore strategies that effectively help them develop healthy attitudes about life which don't involve their insisting on extrinsic rewards or our relying on another cookie to ensure proper behavior in public. Let's not just shake our heads in dismay but affirm our conviction to undo and/or avoid such entitlement in our families.

Come join us whether or not you've read the book. The discussion and camaraderie (with grown-ups) makes the outing worthwhile.

IMPORTANT FOR NAVIGATING TO THE EVENT: Our hosts inform us that Garfield and Fulton are closed for street repairs, which has confused a few GPS system. To get to King Pl from Foxhall, please take W St.
