Toddler Session: How to Cultivate Cooperation Without Threats, Bribes or Punishments

Yes, it IS possible! Ms. Thain and Ms. Barba will give you the inside scoop on how to use limit setting as a way to help your child grow into a responsible human being. It's not only OK to set limits - it's your job to do so with kindness and firmness. Time will be allowed at the end of the session for a Q&A about how the first 7 days In School have been going.

Primary Session: Nurturing Independence as a Life Skill

Last month you studied the concept of Freedom Within Limits (LINK to recording here) and this month we'll discover how to incorporate the Montessori belief in the power of independence into that framework. We'll explore ways we support this important developmental process in school and how you can encourage and assist it at home. Find out how it can and why it should be translated from online learning to everyday life.
