All parents are invited to attend a special EPIC presentation on technology, social media, and our children on Wednesday, April 29. In this hour-long meeting, Head of Upper School Jimi Purse and School Counselor Jessica Kwerel will review the data around technology, screen time, social media, and the impact on children as they go through elementary into adolescence and even young adulthood.
The rise of social media over the past ten years has coincided with a rise in children's anxiety, depression, and intentional harm. This begs the question, "what can we do as a community to support the growth and development of our children in the digital age?"
