Aidan Explorers
Aidan’s 2024 Summer Program, Aidan Explorers, features summer camps for both Primary and Elementary ages! Both camps are held on Aidan’s campus with field trips scheduled throughout the summer.
The majority of our camp staff are Aidan teachers and staff members during the school year. Their collective experience and alignment with Aidan's values provide a unique camp experience that is captivating, challenging and fun!
Please note: camp registration is only available for current and incoming Aidan families.
Elementary
Aidan’s Elementary Summer Program blends an exciting mix of on-campus activities with field trips throughout the Washington DC area!
On-campus activities include baking, sports, art projects, and STEM-related challenges! Field trips take place three times per week and include activities such as rock climbing, exploring museums, and even attending a Washington Mystics game!
Primary
Aidan’s Primary Summer Program provides campers with exciting and enriching daily offerings and work cycles. Highlighted by weekly themes such as “Under the Sea” and “Outer Space”, this camp brings the world to all campers! Art, movement, cooking and much more are explored when the children are on campus. The campers also have the opportunity to explore the DC area with one field trip every week. We also celebrate all Fridays with one of our camper-favorite activities: Water Day!
Please note: this camp’s classrooms are not Montessori, although many elements of the program incorporate Montessori teachings and principles.
